Halloween Night

After Ben and Janae left Grandma smelled Elena's feet and almost died! Jesus even thought it was bad.





























As soon as it was dark Grandma lit the pumpkins and we waited ... and waited ... and waited for even 1 trick or treat er. No one came. Isn't that sad? So we walked around in the dark with flashlights and Grandma scared the kids every so often with growls and "boo"! Caleb, Hannah, Patrick and Elena thought it was the best. Patrick asked why they weren't going trick or treating too. Cory said it was because, "last night (meaning at the Ward Party) was our night to wear costumes and go trick or treating." He seemed satisfied with the answer and didn't ask again.

Hannah and Elena weren't ready to go in until they had played in the back of Jerry's truck for an hour. Grandma and I didn't mind, we talked a lot and also saved the girls a few times from falling out of the bed of the truck.
