Today was not your typical Bakersfield July day. It was much cooler than we had all hoped. And because it was so much cooler it made for a more enjoyable Primary Activity Day. This is the 2nd year in a row we have not had an official Pioneer Day. So we decided as a Primary Presidency to have our own. We had a watermelon spitting booth, pick marbles up with your toes booth, pie eating contest, stick pulling booth and shoot targets with a sling shot booth. I think the kids had fun, I certainly did. It was my first Primary Day activity ever. I loved it. I really like serving in the Primary. The kids are so special and wonderful. I love watching them grow in the Gospel.
