Our last night

Aug. 13th 2008

Our last night in Mammoth was spent together (minus the Morneno's). I thought ice cream sounded really good and coupled with the free touristy bus ride around the town made for a fun evening. The bus ride was most likely Caleb's favorite part, he didn't want to get off when we finally arrived at our destination. Well, all of us had different ideas to what kind of treat sounded good when we saw all of our options. Sara got a frozen banana, Cory stuck with ice cream, Janae and I both got carmal apples, Ben wanted nothing and Connie shared with everyone. After walking around and listening to a local band at an outside plaza we went back to the bus and headed home. I love Mammoth! I am so glad that we got to come back to the place where we honeymooned 6 years ago.

I just thought I'd warn you (from experience with a son who LOVES golf 'cause he takes after his daddy!) about the whole "golf clubs in the house..." I DON'T recommend it for too much longer. Michaels not quite 2 and we've found that the only place for clubs is on the golf course/driving range! He had plastic ones for awhile, then got his own REAL set that we had to move outside, and after chasing the ball down the street SEVERAL times, we have come to the conclusion that the driving range is the place to be with that kid! Caleb looks so cute with them, regardless! Hope you're feeling well and that things go smoothly for you!
