I love flowers. I love them. Cory picked out this beautiful pink geranium and then let Caleb paint the pot. Cory said Caleb went crazy with the paint and I think it's the best Mother's Day gift I have ever gotten.

It's that time of year again... Cory leaves for the week to Kansas city for level 5 training. Just like last year he left on a Sunday and it was also on Mother's Day! What a bummer. I miss Cory so much already and it hasn't even been 12 hours. I'm not looking forward to sleeping alone or him not coming home for dinner. Oh can't this week go any faster?

This week was fun for me and Caleb. On both Monday and Wednesday of this week we went to the Sears Neighborhood place and enjoyed the fruits of the First 5 program. Then today Alison and I went to our first play group activity at Siemon park. We met up with other super nice women from our ward and their kids. It was so good to get Caleb interacting with other children his age and even a little older. I felt like I was a really good Mommy this week and I want to continue in the hopes that Caleb will be inspired to talk. He is doing so much better already.

After church we asked our friend Amber Cola to take a picture of us. We have been meaning to take a family picture for weeks, but either forget the camera or the idea. Aren't we a nice little family?
April 26 -27, 2008
Were back on the road and heading home. Before the trip started Caleb sat in the co-pilot seat for (no exagerating) 15 minutes waiting for the "beep, beep" to get moving. Well we did and the trip back was even better than the trip to Provo. For starters we left at a better time (just before lunch) and we knew what to expect. Caleb and Patrick both slept and that is always a good thing.
Although the trip was great we are all glad to be home.
In the bedroom we stayed in at Aunt Helen's house was this beautiful wall wreath... thingy. I fell in love with it and would just stare at whenever I went into the room. I decided to take a picture of it with the hope of finding one of my very own.
Later that day we met up for lunch with the rest of the Provo family to celebrate Sara's graduation. We ate at a little Pizza place. It was excellent. Before we went in to eat I just had to get a picture of the beautiful mountains with snow on them. The air was crisp and clean and the view was amazing. Who would have thought there would still be so much snow on the mountains in late April? Or that it would lightly snow in Provo the day before? Well there was, and it did.
